Tie Breaking

At times players may find themselves in a situation where one player must be determined to have the advantage in a way that all other metrics indicate is a draw. If this happens, then players may break this tie using any method below:

• flip a coin
• rock-paper-scissors
• any other fair and impartial system that leaves both players an equal chance

Most of the time the tie breaking is for purely procedural reasons and the player that wins won’t gain a significant advantage. That said, once a tie break is performed in a game, the winner of the tie break will alternate evenly for each subsequent need.
