Damage
This is the process used to find out what effect an attack or event has on a model.
The effect of the attack will depend on the difference between the Attack Score
and Defense Score
.
Score Comparison | Result |
---|---|
Attack == Defense | Target Stunned |
Attack > Defense | Target Stunned and Damaged |
Attack > 2 * Defense | Target Destroyed |
Attack > 3 * Defense | Target Annihilated |
The target is given a stun
marker. The number of stun markers will determine how the model will behave and perform during its next activation.
The target is given a damaged
marker. Each damage marker will reduce one attribute to 0. The target’s controlling player gets to choose which attribute is affected, but may not select an attribute that is already modified by a damaged
marker.
If all attributes have a damaged
marker allocated already, then the model is treated as destroyed
.
The target model is removed from play and may no longer take part in the game.
For non-composite models, the target model is removed from play and may no longer take part in the game.
Any marker received as part of an attack is placed in the target model’s pending effect box
.
Damaged
, Destroyed
, and Annihilated
results will have take effect during the resolution phase.
Composite models will take accumulate effects on each component individually as if they were separate models.
If any components are damaged
, that will nto affect other components.
If any of the components are destroyed
, then all other components will immediately gain a stun
marker.
If any component of a composite model suffers a annihilated
result, then the model is destroyed.
