Bidding
Players will at times be permitted to use command tokens
to increase their scores when performing certain actions. Normally these bids are limited to the command tokens
that have been allocated to the involved models’ consoles
.
The active player starts by selecting any number of command tokens
assigned to the model currently performing the action. These tokens are placed face-down on the table.
the passive player starts by selecting any number of command tokens
assigned to their model that is also involved in the action. These tokens are also placed face-down on the table.
Both players now reveal their tokens, and any that are not dummy command tokens
are used to increase the scores used to resolve the current action.
At times a player may find themselves performing an action where the opposing player isn’t directly involved. In this case, they may still use command tokens
to boost their score, but there will be no opposing bid.
